Grassroots development remains the true test of responsive leadership, and in Egbeda Local Government, visible progress is steadily taking shape.

Recall that Comrade Moyosoreoluwa Olamilekan Eldreez, popularly known as IJOBA AUTHORITY MOE, earlier reported the flag-off of the Agoro Darinbo Aroko–Alalubosa linking Brewery Road project last year—an initiative of the Executive Chairman of Egbeda Local Government, Hon. Sikiru Sanda Oyedele Lajue.
Today, that promise is fast becoming reality. The road construction project, handled by Messrs AB Bond and Habitat Limited under the leadership of Engr. Akinkunmi AbdulAfis Ajisafe FNSE, has moved into a top-gear phase. Construction activities along the axis have intensified, with clear signs of structural advancement and engineering precision aimed at delivering a durable and efficient road network for the benefiting communities.

This project is more than an infrastructural upgrade; it represents economic stimulation, improved mobility, and enhanced safety for residents, traders, commuters, and small-scale businesses operating within the corridor. When completed, the road will ease connectivity, reduce travel time, and strengthen commercial interactions across the axis.

Hon. Lajue’s administration continues to demonstrate that grassroots governance is not about rhetoric but about tangible results. The steady improvement along the Monatan Adogba, junction Agoro, Darinbo Aroko–Alalubosa to brewery road axis signals commitment, capacity, and continuity in local development efforts.
We must commend the leadership and interest of Governor Makinde towards empowered systems at the Grassroot through local government administration.

Indeed, it is work in progress—but clearly, progress in motion.
