Ona Ara Agog as Dignitaries, Traditional Rulers, Stakeholders Honour Late Dcns. Caroline Ayoade …Dr. Temitope Kolapo GLORIOUS Expresses Profound Appreciation

Ona Ara Local Government was yesterday awash with goodwill, reverence and communal solidarity as eminent personalities from across Oyo State and beyond gathered to honour the life and legacy of Late Deaconess Caroline Ayoade.

The solemn yet celebratory programme, hosted by the Executive Chairman of Ona Ara Local Government, Dr. Temitope Kolapo GLORIOUS, held at The Philomath Arena, Amuloko, drew a distinguished convergence of political leaders, traditional rulers, faith leaders, professionals and community stakeholders.

Speaking after the event, Dr. Temitope GLORIOUS expressed heartfelt appreciation to all attendees for standing with his family to celebrate the impactful life of his late mother-in-law, mother of Deaconess Oluwabunmi Kolapo and Emperor Dele Ayoade Asegun.

He described the overwhelming turnout as a powerful testament to the enduring values of service, faith, humility and community which the late matriarch embodied during her lifetime.

Among the high-profile dignitaries present were Governor Seyi Makinde’s ally, Otunba Seye Famojuro; the Personal Assistant to the Governor, Alhaji Akeem Azeem; and the Honourable Member representing Egbeda/Ona Ara Federal Constituency, Oloye Akin Alabi. Others included the Oyo State Deputy Speaker, Muhammad Abiodun Fadeyi, members of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Commissioners, PDP leaders and executives, Local Government Chairmen and their spouses.

The gathering was further graced by Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke, PDP Deputy Chairman, Oyo State; the President, National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools (NAPPS), Oyo State; Asiwaju Kunle Fajobi of God’s Blessing Schools, Yemetu; leaders and representatives of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN); the National Council of Women Societies (NCWS); NAPPS Ona Ara Chapter; the League of Imams; and representatives of Bank Managers operating within and beyond Ona Ara axis.

Traditional institutions were prominently represented, led by the Balogun of Ibadanland, Tajudeen Ajibola; the Otun Balogun of Ibadanland, Oba Adegbola; the Association of Mogajis of Ibadanland under Chief Asimiyu Ariori; Oba Qamarudeen Oniladuntan; members of the Ona Ara Traditional Council; and Baales from across the Local Government.

Other notable attendees included the Babaloja General of Oyo State, Yekini Abass Oladapo (YK Abbas); the President of Ona Ara Development Forum, Alhaji Kola Bolomope; representatives of organized professional bodies; security agencies; market leaders; women groups; youth organizations; and members of various Ona Ara Development Forums (ODF).

While appreciating every guest, Dr. Temitope GLORIOUS emphasized that the presence, prayers and show of love from all attendees greatly strengthened the family and reaffirmed the spirit of unity, compassion and collective responsibility that define Ona Ara Local Government. He prayed for God’s comfort for the family, eternal rest for the departed, and safe journeys for all guests.
