Former Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission(NCC),PArofessor Adeolu Akande has commisserated with the family and friends of Hon AbiodunThomas Adegokell,former member of the Oyo State House of Assembly representing Kajola Local Government, who passed on earlier in the week.
In a statement released in Ibadan today,Professor Akande also condoned the All Progressives Congress (APC) family in Oyo State and Kajola Local Government in particular over the loss of the party chieftain.
Prof Akande noted that Hon Adegoke was an amiable person whose friendly disposition informed his brand of politics which is devoid of bitterness.
‘He was a wise man whose contributions at parlies were always eloquent and lucid. He was forthright and progressive in his politics’,the statement noted.
‘ His tenures in the Oyo State House of Assembly where he served as Chairman of House Committee on Health and the Legislative House of Kajola Local Government at different times were devoted to the service of the people. He was a politician ever committed to the welfare of the people and development of his constituency.
Prof Akande prayed that God shall repose the soul of the deceased. He also.prayed to God to grant his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
