In a bid to enhance the mobility of officers of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Ibarapa Central Division, member representing Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North Federal Constituency, Hon. Dr. Anthony Adebayo Adepoju, has approved and fulfilled the request of the security agency by providing a brand-new patrol motorcycle to support its operations in safeguarding and restoring critical public infrastructure within the local government area.

The motorcycle was officially handed over on Tuesday, January 28, 2026, at the residence of the federal lawmaker in Igbo-Ora.
Speaking during the presentation, Hon. Remi Ayoade, who delivered the vehicle on behalf of Hon. Adepoju, expressed that the intervention was in response to a formal request by the NSCDC, which highlighted the urgent need for a patrol motorcycle to enhance officers’ mobility and effectiveness across the locality.

Hon. Ayoade commended the officers for their sustained efforts to the protection of critical infrastructure in the local government, noting that Hon. Adepoju’s prompt response to their request further shows his unbridled commitment to the security of lives and property in Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North Federal Constituency area of Oyo State.


He assured the NSCDC of continued collaboration between the office of the federal lawmaker and the agency, while urging the officers to ensure the judicious use and proper maintenance of the motorcycle.
Appreciating the lawmaker, the Divisional Officer of NSCDC, Ibarapa Central, CSC Oke Seyi Sunday, expressed his gratitude to Hon. Adepoju on behalf of the Corps for the timely approval and provision of the patrol motorcycle.

According to him, one of the major challenges confronting the division since his posting to the local government had been the lack of a motorcycle to effectively carry out routine patrols and other security operations. He thanked the lawmaker for responding swiftly to what he described as a critical and long-standing need.

CSC Oke also assured Hon. Adepoju of the Corps’ continued support whenever the need arises, noting that the federal lawmaker has maintained a cordial and productive relationship with the agency since his election in 2023.
He, however, prayed for sustained peace and security in Ibarapa Central, urging members of the public to cooperate with security agencies to prevent violence and breakdown of law and order.
