In furtherance of the renewed hope agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Federal Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation through the National Space Research and Development Agency (NARSDA) collaborated with two different organizations on rape awareness and unwanted pregnancy sensitization, as well as Cleaning activities across a number of communities in Ibadan, Oyo State.

The rape awareness and unwanted pregnancy sensitization event was a one day event in collaboration with Emerald Unique Services Nig. Ltd., and it held on Tuesday 27th January 2026 in Ibadan, Oyo State. The event featured the orientation of young men and women on rape and unwanted pregnancy, and had a rally where fliers containing important information on the topics were distributed to members of the public.

The second programme is the Provision of Waste Bin and Cleaning of Selected Areas in Ibadan, Oyo State which is in conjunction with Renoset International Nigeria Limited. This takes cleaning activities to major markets and selected communities in Ibadan for a period of 5 days, and it also commenced on Tuesday 27th January, and will end on Saturday 1st February 2026.

Both programmes underscore the commitment of the Federal Government to the physical and environmental health of all Nigerians.
