Egbeda/Ona-Ara 2027: OTOPE Pledges Loyalty to Makinde, Urges PDP Unity

My attention has been drawn to a series of speculations, commentaries, and back-and-forth posts circulating on social and other media platforms regarding the 2027 Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal House of Representatives aspiration.

I consider it necessary to clarify the situation for the general public and, most importantly, members of our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Let me state clearly and unequivocally that I remain 100 percent loyal to our leader and principal, His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde. I firmly acknowledge and respect his leadership, and I wish to emphasize that he retains the final say concerning my future political ambition.

At this point, I strongly appeal to party faithful, supporters, and stakeholders to avoid distractions and channel our collective energy toward supporting our principal and consolidating the gains of the PDP across Oyo State and beyond. The task before us requires unity, discipline, and unwavering commitment to the ideals of our great party.

This is a time for cohesion, not division; for focus, not speculation. Together, we must continue to strengthen the PDP and ensure sustained progress and electoral success.

May the Almighty God continue to strengthen our great party and grant us victory in all our endeavours.
