The Executive Chairman of Ibarapa North Local Government, Hon. Lawal Lateef Adebare, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to quality healthcare delivery with the inspection and approval of renovation works at key primary healthcare facilities in the local government.

Hon. Akorede, accompanied by top local government officials including the Vice Chairman, Hon. Bisi Akande, and the Secretary to the Local Government, embarked on an inspection tour of the Six-Bed Primary Health Centre, Igangan, and the Alabi Community Primary Health Centre.

The inspection exercise was carried out as part of the chairman’s resolve to ensure that healthcare facilities across Ibarapa North meet acceptable standards and are well-equipped to serve residents effectively. Following the assessment, Hon. Akorede ordered the immediate commencement of renovation works at the two health centres to address identified infrastructural challenges and improve service delivery.

According to the chairman, quality healthcare remains a top priority of his administration, as access to functional and modern health facilities is essential to the well-being of the people.

Hon. Akorede also commended the Oyo State Government, under the leadership of Engr. Oluseyi Makinde, for its unwavering commitment to infrastructure development across the state. He noted that the governor’s people-oriented policies have continued to drive economic growth, improve living standards, and enhance social development.

He expressed optimism that sustained investment in infrastructure, particularly in the health sector, would further position Oyo State for greater development and improved quality of life for its citizens.

The ongoing renovation of the healthcare facilities, he assured, will significantly enhance healthcare delivery in Ibarapa North, ensuring that residents have access to efficient, safe, and quality medical services.

Hon. Akorede reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to the welfare of the people, pledging continued efforts to strengthen healthcare infrastructure and deliver people-focused governance.
