*Dr. Temitope Afolabi Hails OTOPE’s CCII Honour, Describes Award as Pride of Ibadanland*

The Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII) has conferred the prestigious award of “Icon of Ibadan Heritage” on Hon. Chief (Dr.) Ezekiel Temitope Oladimeji OTOPE, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the preservation of Ibadan culture, community development, and public service.

Hon. Chief (Dr.) OTOPE, who is an aspirant for the Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency and also serves as the Director-General, Liaison Office for Abuja and Lagos, was described by the CCII as a distinguished son of Ibadan whose commitment to heritage, leadership, and grassroots empowerment continues to inspire many across the ancient city and beyond.

Reacting to the well-deserved honour, Dr. Temitope Afolabi, a trained Veterinary Doctor and Aspirant for Ona-Ara State Constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly, extended warm congratulations to Hon. Chief (Dr.) OTOPE, praising his lifelong dedication to Ibadanland and its people.

According to Dr. Afolabi, the award is a clear testament to Hon. Chief (Dr.) OTOPE’s consistent advocacy for Ibadan unity, cultural pride, and inclusive development, noting that his leadership roles and political aspirations are firmly rooted in service, integrity, and respect for tradition.
