Ibadan, Oyo State — Okanlomo Oodua and Bada Olubadan, Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi, has lauded the visionary leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde following the successful constitution of the Oyo State Traditional Council.

Chief Sanusi described the inauguration of the council as a historic step toward strengthening traditional institutions and deepening unity among royal fathers across the state. He particularly congratulated His Imperial Majesty, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, on his appointment as Chairman of the Oyo State Traditional Council, describing the choice as well-deserved and reflective of the monarch’s wisdom, experience, and commitment to peace and progress.

“The constitution of the Oyo State Traditional Council is a landmark achievement that will further enhance harmony, consultation, and collective leadership among our revered traditional rulers. Governor Seyi Makinde has once again demonstrated purposeful leadership and respect for our rich cultural heritage,” Chief Sanusi stated.

He also commended the Oyo State House of Assembly for the passage of the law that gave legal backing to the establishment of the Traditional Council, noting that the legislative action reflects a shared commitment to institutional development and good governance.
