Ibarapakan Reaffirms Loyalty to Party Faithful, Extends End-of-Year Gifts to 20 Wards*

As part of efforts to give back to his political base during the festive season, member representing Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North Federal Constituency, Hon. Dr. Adebayo Adepoju, has extended humanitarian gestures to members of his political ward, Ward 4, in Ibarapa Central Local Government Area of Oyo State.

The lawmaker, who attended the ward’s political meeting in Igboora on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, had earlier distributed Christmas and New Year packages, including cash donations, across all the 20 political wards in the constituency.

Addressing party faithful at the meeting, Hon. Adepoju expressed gratitude to members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North for their unalloyed support for the party and the Engr. Seyi Makinde-led administration in Oyo State. He emphasised that the unity, cooperation and internal harmony within the party in Oyo State have continued to strengthen its chances of victory in future elections.

Hon. Adepoju noted that although festive packages had already been distributed across every single ward in the constituency, he considered it imperative to use the occasion of the ward meeting to further appreciate his people by doubling the gesture, describing it as a responsibility of purposeful leadership.

Demonstrating this, the federal lawmaker distributed bags of rice, cartons of spaghetti, noodles, salt, tomatoes, semovita, as well as cash donations to ward executives.

Appreciating the lawmaker on behalf of the Ward, Ward 4 Chairman, Mr. Taye Aderogba, expressed deep appreciation to Hon. Adepoju, noting that the lawmaker has remained loyal to the party that gave him the platform to contest and win election.

The political leader described Ibarapakan as a committed party man and effective representative, assuring him of the continued support of the people of Ibarapa whenever the need arises.

Members of the party present at the meeting unanimously passed a vote of confidence in the Ibarapa-born lawmaker cum technocrat, citing his legislative performance over the last two years as unprecedented in the history of representative governance in the constituency.
