Oyo lawmaker representing Ogbomoso North state constituency, Hon. Bisi Oluramti Micheal, has felicitated with Governor Seyi Makinde on the occasion of his 58th birthday anniversary.
The lawmaker equally extended Xmas greetings to christians on the occasion of the festivity, describing the season as a powerful symbol of hope, sacrifice and love for humanity.
She urged Christians to use the festive period to pray for the nation and to continue promoting peace and understanding across religious and ethnic lines, stressing that unity remains the foundation for sustainable development.
The lawmaker equally praised the role of the Christian community in fostering moral values and supporting social development through education, healthcare and charitable activities, adding that such contributions have continued to strengthen the nation’s social fabric.
She also called on Nigerians to support one another, particularly the less privileged, in the spirit of Christmas, noting that collective empathy and responsibility are essential for national progress.

She noted that the Governor’s birthday, which coincides with the celebration of Christmas, is symbolic of selfless service, sacrifice, and compassion—values that have remained evident in his leadership approach since assuming office.
The lawmaker equally commended the Governor’s achievements across key sectors such as infrastructure, education, healthcare, security, and local government administration, emphasizing that Ogbomoso North Local Government has continued to benefit from the Governor’s developmental initiatives and support for grassroots governance.
