Oyo Lawmaker, Fowokanmi Extols the Exceptional Leadership and Statesmanship of Governor Seyi Makinde on the Occasion of His Birthday*

The Honourable Member representing Ibadan South-West Constituency II, Hon. Femi Fowokanmi, has showered heartfelt encomiums on the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Engr. Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde, FNSE, as he marks another glorious year of impactful service and purposeful leadership.

In a congratulatory message released to commemorate the Governor’s birthday, Hon. Fowokanmi described Governor Makinde as a visionary reformer, a people-centred leader, and a symbol of responsive governance, whose administration has continued to redefine development, accountability, and inclusive growth across Oyo State.

According to him, Governor Makinde’s leadership philosophy—anchored on integrity, transparency, and compassion—has translated into remarkable achievements in infrastructure development, education reform, healthcare delivery, workers’ welfare, security architecture, and economic revitalisation. He noted that the Governor’s courage to take bold decisions in the interest of the people has earned him widespread admiration beyond party lines.
