The 33 Oyo State Forum of Secretaries to the Local Government Councils has joined millions of well-wishers across Oyo State and beyond to celebrate the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Seyi Makinde, as he marks his 58th birthday.
In a goodwill message, the Forum described Governor Makinde as a visionary, people-oriented leader, whose administration has continued to set the pace in transparent, accountable, and inclusive governance across the state.
The Secretaries commended the Governor for his unwavering commitment to strengthening local government administration and ensuring sustainable grassroots development, noting that his policies have positively impacted governance at the local level.
They particularly applauded his leadership style, which prioritises due process, institutional reforms, and openness, adding that these values have significantly enhanced efficiency and service delivery within the local government system.
The Forum prayed for God’s continued guidance, sound health, and renewed strength for Governor Makinde as he continues to steer Oyo State on the path of sustainable development and good governance.
