As Christmas draws near, Hon. Kamar Oyetunji Yusuff, popularly called KOYCO and a People’s Democratic Party (PDP) hopeful for Ogbomoso North State Constituency in Oyo State, has spread hope to his party members. The generous gesture includes a donation of N1.4m to the Ogbomoso North PDP and 50kg bags of rice to Christian leaders within the party in the Local Government.

In a statement released to the media, Hon. Kamar emphasised the importance of celebrating Christmas from a place of abundance. “The true essence of Christmas is to give back to the people from the abundance of one’s heart, and what we have done is the true reflection of that lesson, as that is what the birth of Christ truly represents,” he said. This act, he believes, embodies the spirit of Christmas and reflects the values of the party which are all about giving back to the people.
Hon. Kamar’s donation aims to bring joy and hope to party members during this festive season. His actions demonstrate a commitment to uplifting others and fostering a sense of community within the party. “It is important for all the members of our party to celebrate this Christmas with adequate gifts and give back to them as that is Christ-like,” he added.

The gesture has been welcomed by party members, who see it as a reflection of Hon. Kamar’s dedication and commitment to their well-being.

As the holiday season approaches, KOYCO’s actions are expected to strengthen bonds within the party and inspire others to follow suit.
