Bisi Oluranti commissions boreholes, empowers PDP coordinators across wards* *..present cash prizes to football match winners

Hon. Bisi Oluranti Micheal, the lawmaker representing Ogbomoso North State Constituency, on Wednesday commissioned four motorised boreholes as part of her community‑development drive.

During the commissioning on Wednesday, Hon. Bisi Oluranti explained that the Ikose borehole which was blocked for more than 15 years had been renovated to modern standards, with a new pumping machine installed and the well flushed.

She noted that the project was initially facilitated by Alhaja Mulikat Adeola during her tenure representing Ogbomoso North, South and Oriire Federal Constituency.

Hon. Oluranti added that the two new motorised boreholes in the Papa Ajao area and Agboin (Aguodo/Masifa) are now operational, and that the fourth borehole in Abogunde was being facilitated.

The lawmaker, who had over the past two years, undertaken several projects, including facilitation of employment for constituents and launching various empowerment programmes in line with her pledge to give back and serve the community, said she will continue to deliver on her promises.

She added that the four boreholes, being commissioned, were in strategic locations and will improve water supply, especially during the dry season.

It should be recalled that MOUTHPIECE NGR had earlier reported that the commissioning of the four boreholes would be done today.

However, after the commissioning ceremony, a final football match was held, with prizes for the winners and support for the team as part of her talent‑hunting and sports‑development efforts.

The lawmaker who equally empowered coordinators of her party across wards, reiterated her continuous support for her constituency.

The event had in attendance several PDP leaders and stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), including the local government chairman, Hon. George Ogunlade; DG Project Performance Monitoring Agency, Hon. Open Salawu; Chairman Local Government Service Commission, Hon. Akinwole Akinwale Wolekanle, PDP Chairman, Jimoh Sikiru Idowu, party state treasurer, Hon. Sunday Bankole, Hon. Olusanjo BSQUARE and a host of others.
