The Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency Governor Seyi Makinde, FNSE, DSc, GSSRS, has once again demonstrated his commitment to the welfare of workers in the state with the approval of the conversion of six hundred and fifty-four (654) civil servants into various cadres across Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) in Oyo State.

The affected officers include those converted from sub-officer cadres to officer cadres, as well as junior staff promoted to senior staff positions, following their acquisition of additional qualifications through approved courses in tertiary institutions.

With this approval, the beneficiaries are expected not only to enjoy improved remuneration but also to have enhanced opportunities to attain the peak of their careers in the Oyo State Civil Service.

Reacting to the development, the Chairman of the Oyo State Civil Service Commission, Alhaji Chief Kamoru Abiodun Aderibigbe, JP, admonished all affected officers to regard the approval as a special end-of-year gift from His Excellency Governor Seyi Makinde and to reciprocate the gesture with increased dedication and commitment to duty.
