Honourable Saheed Akinade Fijabi, a former federal lawmaker and the Chairman of the Oyo at 50 anniversary committee has declared his readiness to align with the Omititun train championed by Governor Seyi Makinde, noting that he and his family members would be glad to be part of the family when formally opened.
Fijabi made this statement on Monday at the unveiling of the official logo to mark the 50th anniversary of the creation of the state.
The former lawmaker who represented Ibadan North West/South West federal constituency, commended Governor Seyi Makinde for what he described as steady governance and visible developmental strides across the state.
He said the anniversary celebration is an opportunity to reflect on Oyo State’s journey and acknowledge the progress recorded under the current administration.
He expressed optimism that the 50th anniversary celebrations would further unite stakeholders and strengthen the state’s development agenda.
