Ibadan, Nigeria — The President of the Junior Chamber International (JCI) Ibadan Elite, Mrs. Ibukun Otesile, who was abducted outside her residence in the Akobo area last Thursday evening, has been safely rescued and reunited with her family.

According to security sources in Oyo State, Mrs. Otesile was released unharmed and was dropped off at the Agbowo Expressway in Ibadan. She is reported to be hale and hearty, to the relief and gratitude of her loved ones and the broader JCI community.
The family and community stakeholders express profound appreciation to all security agencies, government authorities, concerned organizations, well-wishers, friends, and family whose swift actions, prayers, and support contributed to her safe return.

This incident has renewed calls for the government to strengthen security measures across the state and the nation at large. Stakeholders emphasize that ensuring the safety of lives and property remains a fundamental constitutional responsibility of government, and stress the urgency of intensified, proactive efforts to protect all citizens.
