The Aare Egbe Omo Balogun of Ibadanland and Chairman, Solutions 93.9 FM, Ibadan, Oloye Adegboyega Taofeek Adegoke, FCA, has extended warm felicitations to the Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, CFR, Ojaja II, on the occasion of his 10th Coronation Anniversary, celebrating what he described as a decade of visionary, unifying and culturally uplifting traditional leadership.

Adegoke praised the Ooni’s reign for promoting peace, pan-Yoruba unity, youth empowerment and the global appreciation of Yoruba heritage. He noted that the monarch’s decade-long stewardship has strengthened traditional institutions while fostering development-oriented collaborations across the South-West and beyond.
Oloye Adegoke also congratulated the Ajia Olubadan of Ibadanland, Engr. Dotun Sanusi, on his conferment as Okanlomo Oodua, an honour listed among events marking the Ooni’s 10th Coronation Anniversary. He described the chieftaincy elevation as a well-deserved recognition of Engr. Sanusi’s commitment to community development, enterprise, philanthropy and cultural preservation.

According to Adegoke, the installation of Engr. Sanusi as Okanlomo Oodua, with the endorsement of the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba (Senator) Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, Arusa I, underscores the deep historical bonds between Ife and Ibadan, as well as the enduring relevance of traditional leadership in modern governance and socio-economic progress.

He further commended all royal fathers and stakeholders involved in the ceremonies, describing the celebrations as a moment of pride for the Yoruba race. Adegoke prayed for continued wisdom, sound health and longevity for the Ooni, while wishing Engr. Sanusi a successful tenure marked by service, integrity and greater contributions to the upliftment of Yoruba land and Nigeria at large.
The chieftaincy ceremony, held at the Ooni’s Palace in Enuwa, Ile-Ife, Osun State, formed part of activities commemorating the monarch’s 10 years on the throne, drawing dignitaries, traditional rulers and cultural enthusiasts from across the country.
