Let Osun PDP breathe— Group Cries Out

A group under the People’s Democratic party PDP in Osun state has cried out to the national leadership of the party to come to the rescue of the party in Osun

The group in a statement by it’s Chairman ,Saheed Ayodele said since the news of the primaries broke out ,the operators of the proposed venue have received countless threats which is believed to be from people claiming to be party members

Since the state chairman of the party has made it clear that neither him nor the Governor believes in flying the flag of the party ,their anti party tendencies should not extend to their stance against the party’s primaries

Ayodele said for months the Governor have been toying with the idea of leaving the party and the group found his anti party activities not only preposterous but an act of betrayal

We therefore call on the Governor and those parading themselves as party members to stop threatening the operators of the proposed venue because they are just businessmen making their living

We also want to declare unequivocally that the primaries will go on as scheduled and Osun PDP will be on the ballot for the 2026 elections

The release also encourage all participants at the primaries to come out enmass and elect the party’s flag bearer
