The lawmaker representing Ibadan North East/South East Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rep. Abass Adigun (Agboworin), has felicitated with a Chieftain of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the state, Chief Bayo Lawal, on the occasion of his birthday anniversary.
In a statement released by his Media Group, Agboworin described Chief Lawal, who is also the Senior Executive Assistant General Duties to Oyo State Governor, as an icon, a prominent statesman, and a shining example of integrity, wisdom, and selfless service.
The two-term lawmaker praised Chief Lawal’s contributions to the development of Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole, noting that his impact will be felt for generations to come.
Agboworin, however, prayed for continued good health, wisdom, and strength for the celebrant.
The statement read, “Today is indeed a great day being the first day of the last month of year 2025 and the birthday of a true elder-statesman.
“Chief Bayo Lawal is more than just a mentor; he is a father figure, a guiding light, and a source of inspiration to many. His life is a testament to the power of perseverance, hard work, and dedication.
“I am honored to celebrate this remarkable individual, and we look forward to many more years of his guidance, wisdom, and leadership.”
