In a renewed demonstration of her unwavering commitment to grassroots development, Hon. Bisi Oluranti Oyewo Michael, Member of the Oyo State House of Assembly representing Ogbomoso North State Constituency, has donated a substantial cash gift to the Onire Community to support the ongoing construction of their public school.

The financial intervention is expected to accelerate work on the long-awaited project, which will provide children in the community with improved access to quality education. Community leaders, parents, and youth groups described the gesture as timely, impactful, and deeply appreciated.

The school under construction is a landmark project for Onire Community. Currently, many children travel long distances to attend school, a challenge that often affects their learning consistency and overall academic performance. Financial constraints had slowed work on the project—until Hon. Bisi’s intervention brought renewed hope and momentum.

Residents believe the donation will fast-track construction, improve learning conditions, and provide educational opportunities for children who might otherwise face barriers to schooling.

Community Voices Speak Loudly

Community representatives expressed deep gratitude for Hon. Bisi’s support, describing her as:

“A true daughter of Ogbomoso with a heart for the people.”

“A talk-and-do Honourable who delivers on her promises.”

“A woman whose compassion is beyond politics.”

They pledged their continued cooperation and offered prayers for her success in leadership.

As Chairman of the Oyo State House Committee on Culture and Tourism, Hon. Bisi also remains a vocal advocate for cultural preservation, tourism innovation, and heritage development across the state.
