The Kobiowu Iyabo Aminat Foundation has successfully conducted a comprehensive medical outreach for residents of Ibadan South East Local Government, Constituency 1, covering Wards 1 to 6.
The initiative, championed by Hon. Aminat Kobiowu, aimed to make quality healthcare accessible and free for her constituents. Beneficiaries received a wide range of essential medical services, including:
General health screening and medical consultations
Eye screening and provision of free eyeglasses
Dental screening and minor dental procedures
Free medications for various health needs
The outreach recorded an impressive turnout and attracted several notable PDP leaders. Present at the event were:
Hon. Kunmi Adesina (State Exco), Hon. Sulaiman Adesina (World Best, former South East LG Party Chairman), Hon. Nureni Popoola, Leader Atoyebi, Ezekiel Olajide Oluwole (LG Party Chairman), Hon. Okiki, all Ward Chairmen in Ibadan South East LG, Women Leaders, and other influential party stakeholders.
They collectively applauded the initiative for its meaningful impact on community health and welfare.
Speaking at the event, LG Party Chairman, Ezekiel Olajide Oluwole, praised Hon. Kobiowu for facilitating such a valuable programme for her people. He noted that even though she is not currently the elected representative of the constituency, she has consistently demonstrated uncommon commitment, positively touching the lives of both men and women. He further prayed for her aspirations, asking God to grant her success.
Former LG Party Chairman, Hon. Sulaiman Adesina, also commended Hon. Kobiowu and her team for organizing the outreach. He urged party members to support her, stressing that she cares for both the young and the elderly in the constituency. According to him, her dedication to providing health interventions shows her readiness to serve and uplift the community.
This impactful programme once again reflects Hon. Aminat Kobiowu’s unwavering commitment to the well-being of her people and her dedication to delivering inclusive, community-centered service.
The event ended with a special prayer offered by the former Party Chairman, Hon. Sulaiman Adesina.
