In a vibrant, energetic, and history-setting atmosphere, Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo has officially declared his ambition to contest for the Governorship of Oyo State under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). The declaration event drew an overwhelming crowd, as party leaders, loyalists, youth groups, and supporters from across the state gathered to show solidarity.

The momentous gathering witnessed the presence the entire thirty nine (39) state Executives and Thirty Three (33) Local Government Party Chairmen in Oyo State from all local government areas giving the declaration a powerful, full-spectrum party representation.

In his inspiring address, Ambassador Ajadi Oguntoyinbo reaffirmed his commitment to sustaining and building upon the transformational leadership of His Excellency, Engr. Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde. He emphasized his vision for a more prosperous Oyo State anchored on good governance, people-oriented policies, economic expansion, and inclusive development.

According to him, “My mission is simple: to ensure the people of Oyo State remain happy, empowered, and prosperous. We will consolidate on the progress achieved and take our state to new heights.”

Speaking on behalf of the party leadership, the PDP Chairman, Hon. Dayo Ogungbenro, praised Ambassador Ajadi for his bold step and readiness to serve the state. He described Ajadi’s declaration as a reflection of true leadership and commitment to public service.

The Deputy Chairman, Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke, encouraged more aspirants within the party to step forward and present their ideas, noting that healthy competition strengthens the PDP and enriches its democratic values.

The entire state executives reiterated the party’s commitment to a fair, transparent, and inclusive process. They assured that the PDP would stand firmly behind whoever emerges as the party’s flagbearer, stressing that unity remains the party’s strongest asset ahead of the next election.

The event climaxed with joyful singing, prayers, and celebration as supporters hailed what many described as the dawn of a new political era for Ambassador Ajadi Oguntoyinbo. The declaration has undoubtedly set the tone for an exciting political season within the Oyo State PDP
