Akinyele Council Boss, Hon Akinwole Akinleye Applauds Gov. Makinde’s Visionary 2026 Budget to Drive Oyo’s Economic Growth

The Executive Chairman of Akinyele Local Government, Hon. Akinwole Akinleye, has commended Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, for unveiling the ambitious 2026 Budget of Economic Expansion, which is pegged at ₦891.9 billion. He characterized the proposal as a progressive initiative poised to elevate the state towards accelerated economic growth.

In a statement to made available by o the public through his Chief Media Aide, Ogundipe Miracle, Hon. Akinleye highlighted that the budget exemplifies Governor Makinde’s “visionary leadership and steadfast dedication to fostering a resilient, modern, and opportunity-rich Oyo State.” He pointed out that while many states are grappling with economic challenges, the governor continues to champion policies that prioritize stability, innovation, and long-lasting impact.

Hon Akinwole Akinleye elaborated that the 2026 budget showcases a targeted strategy to enhance crucial development sectors, including infrastructure, education, healthcare, agribusiness, security, and youth engagement initiatives.
