The former Executive Chairman of Oyo East Local Government, Kosobo, Oyo, and CEO of AROSAD Properties and Consultancy Services, Hon. Arowosaye Saheed Adeyemi (a.k.a AROSAD), has congratulated the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Engr ‘Seyi Makinde, and the newly elected National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja, following the party’s latest leadership developments.
It would be recalled that the national convention was held yesterday in Ibadan at the Adamasingba stadium where the new executive led by Kabiru Turaki emerged as the National Chairman of PDP.
In his congratulatory message released and made available to newsmen on Sunday, Arowosaye commended Governor Makinde for what he described as his steady leadership within the PDP, noting that the governor’s influence has continued to strengthen the party’s internal cohesion both within Oyo State and at the national level.
He further extended warm felicitations to Ambassador Taofeeq Oladejo Arapaja, praising his emergence as PDP National Secretary as a testament to his longstanding commitment, loyalty, and service to the party.
Arowosaye expressed confidence that Arapaja’s experience especially as a former deputy national chairman of the party, would play a significant role in repositioning the PDP ahead of future electoral challenges.
Arowosaye urged the newly elected secretary to prioritize unity, strategic reforms, and grassroots engagement, emphasizing that the PDP must deepen internal democracy to remain competitive.
He also called on party members across all levels to support the new leadership team, stressing that collective effort remains vital to the PDP’s success.
He concluded by reaffirming his belief that Governor Makinde and Ambassador Arapaja will continue to deliver purposeful leadership capable of driving the party toward sustainable progress.
