The lawmaker representing Ogbomoso North State Constituency, Hon. Bisi Oluranti Micheal, has commended Gov Seyi Makinde for his boldness to hold the 2025 PDP convention in Ibadan.
She commended the Governor’s steadfastness to fair, just and open National Convention.
In a statement on Saturday, the lawmaker—who had met several delegates at the convention venue in Adamasigba Stadium—said the delegates were gathering for the Ibadan 2025 National Convention not merely as representatives of their constituencies, but as custodians of the PDP’s shared vision for a stronger, more prosperous, and united Oyo State and Nigeria.
According to her, the presence of delegates across the six geo-political zones in Ibadan reflected a deep commitment to democratic ideals, responsible leadership, and the collective will of people.
She added that each member of the PDP at the convention carries the hopes, expectations, and aspirations of countless citizens who trust the party’s ability to chart a genuine progressive course for the country.
The lawmaker however expressed optimism that the National Convention will be a turning point for PDP, commending all delegates for their active participation.
