Amofin Beulah Adeoye, founder of the Beulah Adeoye Foundation, has welcomed distinguished delegates, party leaders, and cherished members of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP to the historic Ibadan 2025 National Convention.
Amofin Adeoye commended Gov Seyi Makinde steadfastness to fair, just and open National Convention.
Amofin Adeoye said delegates gather in Ibadan 2025 National Convention not only as representatives of various constituencies across the country, but as custodians of shared vision of PDP for a stronger, more prosperous, and more united future for Oyo state and Nigeria as a country.
The legal icon said the presence of delegates across the six geo-political zones in Ibadan reflected a deep commitment to democratic ideals, responsible leadership, and the collective will of people.
He added that each member of the PDP at the convention carries the hopes, expectations, and aspirations of countless citizens who trust the party’s ability to chart a genuine progressive course for the country.
He expressed this while taking a tour of the stadium on Friday night ahead of the convention.
In his interaction with people at the event centre, he expressed delight at the level of readiness and excitement in the air. At the venue in the late evening, Amofin Adeoye met with the Hon. Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barrister Abiodun Ayodeji Aikomo and the Chairman of the Oyo State Game and Lottery Board Hon. Olajide Boladuro
Amofin Adeoye later visited and interacted with delegates from across the country at the JAGS Hotel Ibadan where he met PDP Chairman of the Board of Trustees Senator Adolphus Wabara, the PDP national Youth Leader, Prince Suleman Kadade and distinguished Senator Aminu Ita Abbas, Chairman Senate on Science and Technology representing Adamawa Central Senatorial District among others.
Amofin Adeoye said convention which begins today is more than a political gathering. He described it as a platform for renewed purpose and opportunity for us to reaffirm its values; service, justice, development, and unity.
“Once again, I warmly welcome you all. May this Ibadan 2025 National Convention be fruitful, peaceful, and transformative for our party and our state” Amofin Adeoye added.
