At the root of ingratitude lies familiarity and I do not take the privilege of consistent visibility for granted.
Mr. Speaker, thank you, sir, for the honour of representation.

The presence of three distinguished Honourable Members of the Oyo State House of Assembly — Hon. Daud Olalere (D’Alhamen), an alumnus of the school; Hon. Saminu (Wale Canada); and Hon. Olufunke Comforter — added immense colour and prestige to the occasion.

It was indeed an enlightening celebration, rich with the history and remarkable impact of the School of Medical Laboratory Science, UCH. The gathering of teachers of teachers lent great depth and dignity to the event. The inspiring addresses by the CMD of UCH, Prof. Otegbayo, and the erudite Guest Speaker, Prof. Anetu, were the icing on the cake.
