Member representing Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North in the Nigerian House of Representatives, Hon. (Dr.) Anthony Adebayo Adepoju, has extended his warm congratulations to Elder Olanrele Kolawole Salako, popularly known as Great Mother, on the occasion of his 80th birthday.
In a congratulatory text made available to newsmen in Ibadan, Oyo State Capital on Tuesday, through his spokesperson, Hassan Adesodi Olaoniye, Hon. Adepoju described Elder Olanrele as a father figure and one with an unshakeable conviction.
According to him, the octogenarian is a disciplinarian par excellence and one who doesn’t compromise, even if it means missing out on material advantages.
The federal lawmaker expressed that the impact of Elder Olanrele on him as a father and political leader cannot be overemphasised, urging the celebrant to continue to do those things that bring development to Ibarapa land.
He said it is a privilege to grow older; worthy of celebration is to clock 80 and having someone like Elder Olanrele who will not hesitate to share his wealth of knowledge as and when due is the joy of any man in life.
He acknowledged the celebrant being a custodian of history and a soul who never fails to serve God regardless of the situation, praying to God to grant the celebrant renewed strength and health for the new generation to learn from the ocean of his wealth of knowledge and inspiring leadership attributes for long.
