In a bid to bolster support ahead of the forthcoming local government elections, Honorable Oluwaseun Olufade, the Chairmanship Candidate for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ibadan North, made a generous gesture by donating Ankara campaign wears to over two thousand party members.

The donation, aimed at mobilizing grassroots support, was made alongside his vice chairmanship candidate, Akeem Ayoade, during a stakeholder meeting held at the Ibadan North PDP secretariat in Yemetu, Ibadan.

The stakeholder meeting, chaired by Ibadan North PDP Chairman, Prince Seun Adelore, witnessed the unveiling of the campaign itinerary by the director general of the campaign committee, Falana Adebowale.

The itinerary, meticulously crafted by the Falana-led committee, received widespread applause from party executives, leaders, and members present at the gathering.

Notable attendees included former Special Adviser to Governor Seyi Makinde on Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Honorable Adeniyi Adeyinka Kazim Bibire; Shooting Stars Sole Administrator, Honorable Olaniyan Babatunde (Akoro); Special Adviser to Governor Seyi Makinde on Ibadan North Federal Constituency, Honorable Julian Nwachuku; as well as a host of other political bigwigs from the region.

Also in attendance were party executives representing wards 1 to 12, serving councilors, supervisory councilors, Special Assistants and councillorship candidates from ward 1 to 12.

Expressing optimism about the upcoming campaign, the director general, Falana Adebowale assured attendees of a memorable flag-off event scheduled for March 6th, 2024. Promising a fun-filled occasion, Adebowale revealed that popular Fuji musician Taye Currency would grace the event with live performances, adding to the excitement and enthusiasm of party supporters.

Encouraging party members to turn out in large numbers, Adebowale emphasized the significance of the flag-off event as a precursor to the ensuing campaign activities leading up to election day.

With such enthusiastic support and meticulous planning, the PDP in Ibadan North gears up for an engaging and spirited election campaign.
