Akinyele Council Boss, Hon Akinwole Akinleye Hosts NSCDC Commandant, Reaffirms His Commitment to Strengthening Security Architecture in the LG

The Executive Chairman of Akinyele Local Government, Hon. Akinwole Akinleye, has reiterated his administration’s strong commitment to enhancing security throughout the Local Government by fostering continuous collaboration with pertinent stakeholders and security agencies.

Hon. Akinleye made this assurance today during a visit from the Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Oyo State Command, CC Augustine Padonu, who came to the Akinyele council secretariat, Moniya today for a courtesy visit.

The Akinyele Council Boss, stressed the significance of synergy among security agencies, traditional leaders, and community stakeholders, emphasizing that effective coordination is vital for maintaining peace and safeguarding lives and property within the local government.

While underscoring that security is a cornerstone of his administration, Hon. Akinwole Akinleye expressed gratitude to the various security agencies in Akinyele Local Government for their efforts in addressing the security challenges faced by his administration and reaffirmed his commitment to protecting lives and property in the local government.

In his remarks, CC Augustine Padonu praised Hon. Akinwole Akinleye for his exceptional cooperation with security agencies operating in the local government, noting that the peaceful environment in Akinyele Local Government is a testament to the Council Chairman’s proactive leadership and support.

Padonu, who has been touring NSCDC formations across Oyo State, urged officers and personnel of the Corps to remain professional, diligent, and collaborative with other security agencies to enhance public safety throughout the state.

The event also included a security stakeholders’ meeting, where representatives from various agencies discussed new strategies to further bolster security operations within the area.

In their goodwill messages, representatives of the security agencies lauded Hon. Akinwole Akinleye for his unwavering support towards security agencies, describing his efforts as a valuable contribution to the security initiatives of his Principal, The Executive Governor of Oyo State,Engr Seyi Makinde in Oyo State.
