In a remarkable show of support for security agencies, Honourable Abass Adigun Agboworin, member representing Ibadan North-East/South-East Federal Constituency and Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Narcotic Drugs, has facilitated a groundbreaking empowerment initiative aimed at strengthening the operational capacity of key security outfits in Oyo State.

The empowerment programme, held in collaboration with the Nigeria Agricultural Quarantine Services (NAQS), featured the distribution of essential utility items to various security agencies, including the Nigeria Police Force, Operation Burst, Department of State Services (DSS), NSCDC and Amotekun Corps, all of whom were duly represented by their respective heads.
Among the items donated were generating sets, Hisense refrigerators, OX standing fans, Nexus water dispensers with Cway water jars, HP multipurpose printing devices, alongside reams of A4 paper, ledgers, and packs of pens — all aimed at enhancing administrative efficiency and welfare within the security formations.
