The Speaker of Ibadan South East Local Government Legislative Council and Oyo State Coordinator/Chairman of Councillors, Hon. Oladepo Ayodeji, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja on his endorsement as the South-West consensus candidate for the position of National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
In a goodwill message issued on Monday, Hon. Ayodeji described Ambassador Arapaja as “a seasoned administrator, a loyal party man, and a unifying force” whose leadership qualities have remained exemplary within the PDP family.
He commended Governor Seyi Makinde for his visionary and inclusive leadership style, which, he noted, has continued to promote peace, cohesion, and progress within the South-West PDP. According to him, Arapaja’s endorsement is a reflection of both experience and integrity.

Hon. Ayodeji also reaffirmed his unwavering support and that of his constituents for the PDP leadership, stressing that the South-West is now better positioned to contribute meaningfully to the party’s national development agenda.
