In a heartwarming show of compassion and community spirit, Engr. Dr. Maruf Babatunde Ishola (Kukoyi) visited Kisi General Hospital where he donated wheelchair and Zimmer frames to aid patients’ recovery and mobility. During the visit, he toured the hospital wards, interacted with patients, and paid the full medical bills of those who were admitted, putting smiles on the faces of many families.

He was accompanied by the newly inaugurated People’s Democratic Party (PDP) executives in Irepo Local Government, led by the Party Chairman, Hon. Olawoyin Kunle Kazeem (Olumoyin). Commending Engr. Kukoyi’s humanitarian gesture, Hon. Olumoyin described it as a reflection of true leadership and empathy, saying that such an act is worthy of emulation as it restores hope and joy to the less privileged.
Earlier in the day, Engr. Dr. Maruf Babatunde Ishola (Kukoyi) had met with the Executive Chairman of Irepo Local Government, Hon. Alhaji Tunde Taoheed Olayiwola, alongside the PDP executives at the Chairman’s residence, where he formally declared his intention to contest in the 2027 general elections under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

Speaking during the declaration, Engr. Kukoyi said, “I am aspiring for the post of State House of Assembly representing Irepo and Olorunsogo Local Governments.” We pray that Almighty Allah continues to bless him abundantly, reward his generosity, and grant him success in his political ambition and all future endeavours.
