Mogaji Busari celebrated Sanusi popularly known as JDS, describing him as a man of the people and a source of hope to thousands, stating that his birthday is always a special occasion to celebrate him for his life of impact.
According to Mogaji Busari, Dotun Sanusi’s impact in society traverses philanthropy, community service, and community development, adding that his contributions to the development and uplift of Ibadanland and the South-West are commendable.
He said: “I felicitate you, my amazing brother and a great man, the Bada Olubadan-designate and chairman, Ilaji Hotels and Sport Resort, Akanran, Ibadan, Engr. Jubril Dotun Sanusi, on the occasion of your birthday.
“A philanthropist of note, a community servant and development agent, you have shown to the world that life is meaningless when it is not lived in service to the people and that wealth is nothing when not deployed to bring joy to others.
“I join the rest of your friends and well-wishers to celebrate you today, the 17th of October, 2025, and to appreciate you for your life of service and impact to the society.
“The evidences of your service to humanity are everywhere from Akanran to the hinterland of Oyo State and the South-West, which is why your designation as Okanlomo Oodua by the Ooni of Ife, made sense to all who know you and the recent presentation of a symbol of authority to you by your Alma Mater, the University of Ibadan, didn’t come as a surprise.
“As you celebrate this birthday, it is my prayer that God continues to bless, uphold, and guide you as you strive to serve your people on a wider scale.
“Happy birthday to the scion of Olugbade family.”
