IDO LE TENTE Football Competition Set to Kick Off in Ido Local Government

The “IDO LE TENTE” football friendly match organized by Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, the Executive Chairman Ido Local Government, where men of all ages will be qualified to play throughout the 10 Wards of the local government is set to kick off this Friday 10th of October 2025.

According to the planning committee, during their last meeting coordinated by the Supervisory Councillor for Youth and Sports, Hon. Oladimeji Kayode ; The opening match will held on Friday 10th of October,2025 between Ward 8 and Ward 3 by 3.pm at Ido High School, Ido. The competition is scheduled to hold as follows:

Day 1:
Friday 10th of October,2025;
Ward 8 VS Ward 3 by 3.pm

Day 2:
Saturday 11th of October,2025;
1.Ward 1 VS Ward 5 – 12.pm to 1.pm

2.Ward 9 VS Ward 10 – 1.30pm to 2.30pm

Day 3:
Sunday 12th of October,2025;
1.Ward 6 VS Ward 9 -2.pm to 3pm

2.Ward 3 VS Ward 4 – 3.pm to 4pm

Day 4:
Saturday 18th of October,2025;
1.Ward 2 VS Ward 5- 12.pm to 1.pm

2.Ward 6 VS Ward 4 – 1.30pm to 2.30pm

Day 5:
Sunday 19th of October, 2025;
1.Ward 1 VS Ward 10 – 2.pm to 3.pm

2.Ward 2 VS Ward 7 – 3.pm to 4.pm

3.Ward 9 VS Ward 8 – 4.pm to 5.pm

Day 6:
Friday 24th of October, 2025;
1.1st in group A VS 2nd in group B – 3.pm to 4pm

2.1st in group B VS 2nd in group A – 4.pm to 5.pm

Day 7:
Sunday 26th of October,2025;
Final- 2.pm to 3.30pm

The Executive Chairman Hon. Sheriff Adeojo ably represented by Hon. Lukman Olabamiji the Chairman House Committee on Youths and Sports Ido Local Government Legislative assured their people that the competition is going to be an exciting event that will promote sports development and community engagement in Ido Local Government, while residents interested in participating are encouraged to obtain participation form from their respective wards. ” This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your skills,build community spirit and have fun” Hon. Olabamiji stated.

In attendance were; Supervisory Councillors, Special Assistants , Director of Education and Social Services – Mrs Ganiyat Dasola Durodola and Information Unit Crew.
