The 2025 edition of the Lanase Maolud Nabiyy celebration witnessed a distinguished presence as Hon. Abiodun Babalola Ph.D, a respected lawmaker from Oyo State, joined the faithful at the Lanase Central Mosque to commemorate the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
The colorful event, which drew clerics, community leaders, and Islamic scholars from across the state, was hosted by the current Khalifa of Lanase Central Mosque, Alhaji Abdul-Rahman Olanase.
Hon. Babalola, in his remarks, described the Maolud Nabiyy as a period of reflection, gratitude, and renewal of faith, urging Muslims to emulate the Prophet’s virtues of peace, humility, and compassion.
He commended the Khalifa and the entire Lanase Muslim community for preserving the legacy of unity and devotion that the celebration represents, adding that such gatherings foster spiritual growth and social harmony.

The event featured Qur’an recitations, prayers for the nation, and goodwill messages from dignitaries who applauded the enduring significance of the Lanase Maolud Nabiyy in strengthening faith and communal bonds.
