The Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State, Ogunsina Oluwaseun Michael, has condemned the Minister of Power, Chief Bayo Adelabu, over an alleged donation of ₦12.5 million to members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) media and youth wing in the state.

In a social media post made by Ogunsina, he described the gesture as “pathetic and unfortunate,” accusing Adelabu of using money to incite APC youths against the PDP and Governor Seyi Makinde.
According to Ogunsina, the minister, who he said has “enough opportunities and influence in Abuja,” has failed to use his position to create jobs or support young people meaningfully, choosing instead to fund online propaganda.

“This guy has plenty opportunities in Abuja to get you jobs and make your life better. He no do am. He has the funds to support your handwork and support your dreams, he no give you.
He has the connection to ensure you lead a better life, but see what he has reduced you to, E-Tigers,” Ogunsina wrote.

He alleged that the ₦12.5 millionaire donation was meant to sponsor coordinated social media attacks against PDP leaders and Governor Makinde, whom he praised for prioritising empowerment over propaganda.
“They gave you ₦12.5 million to start abusing us and dragging Seyi Makinde, and some of you are happy and joyous,” he said.
“You should ask him why his own son, who is also an adult, is not part of those who will share this money. Thank you GSM, nah correct man you be. You no dey dash us money to abuse people, nah correct life empowerment you dey give us.”
