Oyo, Ibadan|

As Nigeria marks its 65th year of independence, the Executive Chairman of Lagelu Local Government, Hon. Mudashiru Kamorudeen, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Nigerians, particularly the residents of Lagelu, for their resilience and unwavering commitment to the nation’s growth. In a stirring message made available by his office on Wednesday, the chairman called for renewed unity, collective responsibility, and dedication to building a prosperous Nigeria.

In his message, Hon. Kamorudeen reflected on Nigeria’s journey since gaining independence in 1960, acknowledging the triumphs and challenges that have shaped the nation. “Today, as we celebrate 65 years of self-governance, we honor the sacrifices of our heroes past and the resilience of every Nigerian who continues to strive for a better tomorrow,” he said. “In Lagelu, we are proud to contribute to Nigeria’s story through grassroots development, empowerment, and unity.”

The chairman also called on Nigerians to embrace peace and collaboration, urging citizens to rise above divisive tendencies and work together for the common good. “At 65, Nigeria stands at a pivotal moment. Let us renew our commitment to unity, harness our diversity as a strength, and build a nation where every citizen thrives,” he maintained.
