Egbeda LG Chairman, Hon. Sanda, Commends PDP Congress, Declares Governor Makinde as Nigeria’s Answer in 2027

The Executive Chairman of Egbeda Local Government, Hon. Sikiru Oyedele Sanda, has applauded the peaceful and successful conduct of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) State Executive Congress held today at the Adamasingba Stadium, Ibadan.

Speaking with newsmen shortly after the exercise, Hon. Sanda described the congress as a landmark event that further cemented the unity, stability, and strength of the PDP in Oyo State. He commended the delegates for their discipline and commitment, stressing that their peaceful conduct reflected the maturity and democratic values the party is known for.

According to him, “What we witnessed today is a testimony of the strength and unity within our great party. The delegates have once again demonstrated that the PDP remains the party to beat, not just in Oyo State but across Nigeria. I sincerely commend them for their maturity and dedication.”

Hon. Sanda used the opportunity to shower praises on the Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, whom he described as the architect of stability, progress, and inclusive governance in the state. He noted that under Makinde’s pragmatic leadership, the PDP has not only remained strong but has also continued to gain the confidence of the people.

He further declared that Governor Makinde represents the true solution to Nigeria’s challenges ahead of the 2027 general elections. “Governor Seyi Makinde is the only answer Nigerians need in 2027. His leadership style—rooted in transparency, inclusiveness, and people-centered governance—has shown that he is capable of delivering the Nigeria of our dreams. His track record in Oyo State speaks volumes,” Hon. Sanda said.

The Egbeda Council Chairman also congratulated the newly elected and sworn-in state executive members of the PDP, urging them to justify the confidence reposed in them by working tirelessly towards strengthening the party and ensuring resounding victories in future elections.

He emphasized that the PDP in Oyo State has set a new standard of internal democracy that other states should emulate, and called on all party members to remain united behind Governor Makinde’s vision of sustainable development.

With the successful outcome of the congress, Hon. Sanda expressed confidence that the PDP is fully prepared to consolidate its dominance in Oyo State and reclaim its place as the leading political force across Nigeria.
