Hon. Adebayo Babajide Gabriel, popularly called “Jagaban of the 9th and 10th Assembly,” representing Ibadan North Constituency 2 at the Oyo State House of Assembly, has felicitated with His Royal Majesty, Oba (Senator) Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, on his 81st birthday.
Jagaban praised the Olubadan-designate as a towering figure who embodies the enduring unity, courage, and resilience of Ibadanland.
“Baba is not just a political leader but a custodian of our culture and a unifier whose presence brings calm, whose wisdom commands respect, and whose humility inspires all,” he said.
The lawmaker recalled how Baba Ladoja, as Governor of Oyo State, laid solid foundations for good governance and people-centered policies that still resonate today.
“Baba gave politics a human face and showed that public service is about the people, not personal gain,” he remarked.
He further applauded Baba Ladoja’s patience in steadily climbing the chieftaincy ladder, noting that his rise to the Olubadan throne is a divine reflection of his perseverance.
“As Kabiyesi celebrates 81 years, we are not only rejoicing with him as an individual but as a people grateful to God for blessing us with such a leader.
His reign will surely bring peace, progress, and prosperity to Ibadanland,” Jagaban affirmed.
