Makinde’s Commissioner for Women Affairs & Social Inclusion, Hon Toyin Balogun Congratulates New Ibadan North PDP Leadership;The Boluwatife Team*

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ibadan North Local Government, Oyo State, has inaugurated a nascent leadership following its congress held on Saturday, 20th September 2025, at the Ibadan North Local Government Secretariat.

The Team led by Comrade Alhaji Mustapha Boluwatife Ademuyiwa( the former Acting Chairman ) who merged as the new Chairman alongside 17 other executive officers who will steer the affairs of the Party in the local government for the next four years

In her congratulatory message, the Honourable Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Inclusion, Hon. (Mrs) Oluwatoyin Balogun, lauded the peaceful conduct of the congress and commended the newly elected officers. She expressed confidence in the capacity to add value of the Chairman and by extension the rest of his team given his track record of core competence in grassroots politics,interpersonal people management skills,leadership acumen,grassroots oratorical skills,grassroots engagement and capability to build on the solid foundation already laid in Ibadan North.

Hon. Balogun further praised Governor Seyi Makinde and the leadership of the PDP in Oyo State for providing purposeful guidance and enablement for the prevalence of democratic norms that continues to strengthen the party’s unity and grassroots acceptability.

She urged the new executives to work harmoniously with party leaders,elders and stakeholders to ensure PDP’s dominance in Ibadan North , while also promoting inclusivity,delivery of dividends of democracy and service delivery to party members and citizens in line with Governor Makinde’s vision for sustainable inclusion and development across the length and breadth of Oyo State.
