The Chairman of the Oyo State Agency for Youth Development, Prince Adebowale Adebayo Falana, has pledged stronger support and collaboration with the Yoruba Youth Council (Oyo State Council) to advance youth empowerment and cultural preservation in the state.

This assurance came on Wednesday when stakeholders of the Yoruba Youth Council paid a courtesy visit to the agency’s leadership in Ibadan.
Speaking at the meeting, Prince Falana noted that the agency is for all Oyo State youth, and Governor Makinde is the father of youth, with the development and empowerment of anyone within the range being their priorities.

The Chairman of the Yoruba Youth Council (Oyo State Council), Oladimeji Ibrahim, lauded Governor Seyi Makinde’s unwavering commitment to peace, inclusive governance, and infrastructural development across Oyo State.


He also commended Prince Falana describing him as a true embodiment of the Omoluabi ethos, whose leadership and values continue to inspire excellence and unity among the youth.
Present at the meeting were Mrs. Fakayode Abimbola (Vice Chairman- Oyo Central), Mr. Eruobodo Sodiq (Director of Empowerment), Mr. Ilori Joseph (Chief of Staff), and Mr. OCAT (PRO).
The engagement marks a renewed commitment to youth development, cultural heritage, and strengthened collaboration between government institutions and indigenous youth groups in Oyo State.
