Hon. Engr. Toheeb Adegoke (ADLAT) Commends PDP Leaders for a Peaceful Ward Congress, Congratulates Newly Elected Excos Across Akinyele and Lagelu LGAs

I, Hon. Engr. Toheeb Adegoke (ADLAT), Federal House of Representatives hopeful for Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency, extend my heartfelt commendation to the exceptional leaders of our great party, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), for the peaceful and successful conduct of the recently concluded ward congresses in both Akinyele and Lagelu Local Government Areas.

This democratic exercise was a shining example of the unity, discipline, and progressive values that define the PDP in Oyo State and beyond. It was not only peaceful and transparent, but it also reaffirmed our collective commitment to internal democracy and grassroots participation.

In Akinyele Local Government, I particularly applaud the leadership of Oloye Chief Akin Aderibigbe, Chairman of the Congress Committee, for his wisdom, integrity, and exceptional coordination throughout the process. His contributions, alongside the efforts of other dedicated party stakeholders, ensured a seamless and credible outcome.

Likewise, in Lagelu Local Government, I proudly congratulate the Congress Coordinator, Hon. Oribayo Taliat Okeyode, former Executive Chairman of Lagelu LGA and former Oyo State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters. His experience, leadership, and unwavering commitment to the ideals of our party were instrumental in the smooth and peaceful conduct of the ward congresses in Lagelu.

I also extend my sincere appreciation to all the respected PDP leaders, elders, women, youth leaders, and faithful party members in Lagelu for their steadfastness, cooperation, and unity of purpose. Your efforts have further cemented the PDP’s legacy as a well structured, people-oriented party with deep roots in the grassroots.

To the newly elected Ward Executive Members across Akinyele and Lagelu, I warmly congratulate you on your emergence. Your victory is not merely a political milestone it is a call to dedicated service. As custodians of our party’s vision at the grassroots, your roles are crucial in strengthening party unity, driving local mobilization, and promoting the values of justice, equity, and development that the PDP stands for.

This successful ward congress marks a new beginning one that promises stronger party structures, deeper engagement with the electorate, and greater preparation for future electoral triumphs.

As we look ahead, I urge all party members and stakeholders to build on this solid foundation of peace, unity, and collaboration. Together, with a shared sense of purpose, we will consolidate on our achievements and deliver transformative representation for the good people of Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency.
