Ibarapakan Pays Courtesy Visit to Olubadan-Designate, Ladoja*

Member representing Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North Federal Constituency, Hon. Dr. Anthony Adebayo Adepoju, alongside his colleague, Hon. Oyedeji Oyeshina, who represents Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Kajola/Iwajowa federal constituency, have paid a courtesy visit to the Olubadan-designate, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, on Ondo Street, Bodija, Ibadan, to congratulate him.

According to Hon. Adepoju, Oba Ladoja will leverage his impressive background as a qualified engineer, successful businessman and influential politician to promote Ibadan’s cultural heritage and strengthen its traditional values.

The lawmaker remarked that Oba Ladoja becoming Olubadan literally means he, himself, now has a father, who is a traditional ruler and a paramount monarch in Ibadan Land.

He wished the Olubadan-designate wisdom, long life and prosperity in his new role, praying that his reign would usher in peace, unity and development not only for Ibadan Land but also for Yoruba as a whole.

Congratulating in advance on Oba Ladoja’s coronation, slated for Friday, September 26, 2025, the Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on Federal Character expressed confidence that his leadership will bring prosperity and success to the ancient city.
