BREAKING: Ibadan NorthWest PDP Unanimously Conducts Successful Ward Congresses, Elects New Executives Across 11 Wards

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ibadan NorthWest Local Government Area has successfully conducted its ward congresses, producing new executive officers across 11 wards. The exercise, held on Saturday, was widely described as peaceful, transparent, and democratic.
Party faithful, stakeholders, and aspirants trooped to designated centers across the wards to participate in the congresses, which observers hailed as a credible process. The elections were conducted in line with the party’s guidelines, with monitoring by the PDP National Electoral Committee and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The newly elected ward executives are expected to play a crucial role in coordinating party activities, driving grassroots mobilization, and strengthening the PDP ahead of future political engagements.

Party members expressed optimism about the emergence of the new leadership, noting that it signals a fresh start for the PDP in the local government. “With these executives, we are confident in our ability to reconnect with the people and deliver on our promises,” one member said.
The success of the congresses has further strengthened the PDP’s preparedness for upcoming political activities in Ibadan NorthWest. The development has also attracted commendation for the leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde and other party leaders, including Honourable Wasiu Adeleke, PDP Oyo State Secretary Alhaji Rahman Adepoju Olanrewaju, Ibadan NorthWest Executive Chairman Alhaji Ganiyu Omotosho, Okebadan North LCDA Chairman Alhaji Lukman Adesina, and Ibadan NorthWest PDP Chairman, who also serves as Chairman of PDP Chairmen in Oyo State.

With this milestone, the PDP in Ibadan NorthWest is set for robust grassroots mobilization and strengthened internal unity as the political season gathers momentum.
