Leadership goes a long way, it is the bedrock of every phase of development in an institution. Reverend Dr. Elisha Olukayode Ogundiya is second to none, he is an exemplary leader – he mentors the young ones – giving them a crucial motivating factor to drive needed change in any society. This is not about his spirituality, as we all know. It is handsomely beyond that. He is a remarkable leader who is exceptional.
I grew up under him. My testament to how he treated me will always be overwhelming. Every moment while I was under his tutelage was full of great lessons – from preaching about Christ to talking about life and its events – this, as a matter of fact, widened my knowledge base.
When I got the message of his emergence as the Chariman, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Oyo State chapter, I felt happy because this is a defining moment which is worthy of celebration.
Reverend Elisha has been compensated for his passion in salvation, for his attitudinal behaviour towards Christ and for his unwavering commitment to the Church. His leadership style is etched in a book of glory – one that can never go into oblivion – due to its originality.
Christian Association Of Nigeria (CAN) is a critical voice for the Christian community. Choosing a leader like Reverend Elisha symbolises more greatness, a chance to build on more existing legacies.
By God’s grace, I’m more than confident that his leadership will bring unity among denominations, promoting the value of love in the Christian community.
As he embarks on this journey, may God be with him, and guide him through when making decisions for the association. Congratulations on this journey of yours, sir.
