Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Lanre Sarumi, has congratulated Muslim faithful in Oyo State and across Nigeria on the occasion of this year’s Eld-Mawlud, which commemorates the birth of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).

In his goodwill message, Hon. Sarumi extended warm greetings to the people of Oyo State, particularly members and leaders of the PDP at all levels, acknowledging their steadfastness and contributions to the growth of the party.

He noted that Eld-Mawlud is a season of deep reflection and renewal, calling on Muslims to draw inspiration from the exemplary life of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) by embracing the virtues of patience, kindness, honesty, and selfless service.

“The Prophet’s life teaches us lessons of peace, justice, and compassion. As we celebrate his birth, I urge our great PDP family and indeed all Nigerians to use this sacred period to foster stronger bonds of brotherhood, remain committed to unity, and continue working towards the progress of our state and nation,” he stated.

Hon. Sarumi also prayed for enduring peace, prosperity, and sustainable development in Oyo State and Nigeria, while wishing the Muslim ummah a joyous and spiritually rewarding celebration.

“On behalf of my family, I felicitate with our Muslim brothers and sisters, PDP stakeholders, and the entire people of Oyo State. May this year’s Eld-Mawlud bring renewed hope, abundant blessings, and greater achievements for us all,” he concluded.
