The Executive Chairman of Ibarapa Central Local Government, Hon. Olusola Adeleke has joined the Muslim Ummah in celebrating this year’s Eid-el-Maulud which marks the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).

In his goodwill message made available by his personal assistant Azeez Sodiq Adesina, Hon. Adeleke congratulated the Muslim faithful in Ibarapa Central and beyond describing the occasion as a moment of deep reflection on the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), who epitomized humility, peace, compassion and selfless service to humanity.

He urged the Muslim community to use the celebration to strengthen their faith and commitment to the virtues of love, patience, sacrifice and tolerance which the Prophet lived and preached.

“Eid-el-Maulud is not just a celebration; it is a reminder of the path of righteousness, peace and unity. As we rejoice, let us continue to uphold the values of Islam, foster peaceful coexistence, and contribute positively to the development of our local government and Oyo State at large,” the Chairman said.

Hon. Adeleke further called on residents of Ibarapa Central to live harmoniously, irrespective of religious or political differences, stressing that unity remains the foundation for growth and progress.

He prayed that Almighty Allah bless the Muslim Ummah, grant them long life in good health and accept their prayers and supplications.

“On behalf of the government and the good people of Ibarapa Central Local Government, I wish our Muslim brothers and sisters a joyous and peaceful Eid-el-Maulud celebration,” he concluded.
